Float The Highlands is a multi-day Onewheel event taking place from June 30 to July 5, 2026 in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands around Glencoe. It brings riders from across Europe and beyond to ride, race, and explore stunning Highland terrain on their Onewheels, with a mix of competition and community activities that appeal to riders of all levels.
The event features a variety of experiences. The Tour (June 30 – July 2) offers three days of scenic riding, including a “big day out” that covers a 41-mile route from Oban to Glencoe, guiding participants through hidden paths and epic landscapes rarely seen by visitors. This tour is limited to 30 riders.
For competitive riders, Multi-stage Enduro Downhill Racing runs from July 3 to July 5, with courses starting at roughly 2,500 ft above sea level at Glencoe Mountain Resort and descending 1,350 ft across four stages. The first three stages are open to experienced trail riders, while the fourth stage is reserved for professional competitors — all requiring an Enduro Racing Pass that includes chairlift access.
There are plenty of other activities beyond racing. Social rides allow spectators and riders to enjoy relaxed Highland routes and stunning views, while the Team Endurance Race pits teams of four against each other in a 1.5-hour uphill-and-downhill challenge. The event also includes Freestyle clinics and competitions, Board Demos where newcomers can try Onewheel riding with guidance from experienced riders, an intense Uphill Battle sprint up a steep mountain trail, and a Scavenger Hunt with hidden goodies across the venue.
